Vera brings to projects a deep engagement, aiming to understand what will really make a difference for the client and thriving on solving the puzzle. Her focus is on discovering what would significantly improve the client’s spaces before responding with design solutions. Vera likes to encourage clients to be brave and remove boundaries which might restrict ideas.
Once the client is excited about the brief the design work can start. It is then Vera’s job to see possibilities and push for ideas that reach past the obvious. She applies an efficient and stimulating process whose goal is a calming and captivating result. This is achieved through attention to detail, maximum use of natural light and a thoughtful use of materials.
Vera Taylor Design produces Implementation Guidelines for all projects. These are a book of clear images and thorough instructions for each trade involved in implementing the project. We work closely with the client and contractors to ensure each project works and is carefully delivered.
By working for international brands such as BMW and Conran, Vera has gathered significant experience in translating a brand identity into three-dimensional design language. She creates integrated designs, where all elements of a spatial design are brought together in a coherent interior.
Vera works with clients’ existing art collections or can source art and artefacts. Colour is a strong feature of her work.
